There is a damp stain on the bottom left-hand edge. Joaquin Vara del Rey’s guerrillas were on the outskirts of Mungia when they were attacked by Carlists at "the heights of Agurdin, near the village of Zárate". Despite the attack, the Carlists, led by Basilio Garcia, Prudencio Sopelana, Vivanco e Ibarrola were defeated and pursued by Felix Sarasa.
